Work, care, and everyday life in the city

I study how work and care are organized at the margins of the city. My research combines long-term ethnography, biographical interviews, and analysis of administrative data to understand what sustains everyday life when formal employment is no longer the norm.

I am currently a researcher at the Institute of Urban Social Studies and teach qualitative methodology in the Department of Sociology. I coordinate the ongoing seminar Economies of Care together with a team of doctoral fellows.
